In Bucharest, Romania, orphan Vivian is raised by her aunt after losing her parents in the Rocky Mountains, Colorado, a decade ago. Her family, a lineage of werewolves, has pledged her to Gabriel, the pack leader. Meanwhile, American cartoonist Aiden, researching werewolves for his magazine, meets Vivian, and they quickly fall in love.
